Welcome to our friendly Film Making Club
Bourne End Film Makers (BEFM) is an amateur film makers club where members meet on a regular basis to discuss and make films.  We are a friendly club, set up to share knowledge, experience and also to help each other improve our skills and techniques in film making.  Meetings involve practical exercises, talks by outside speakers, competitions and production meetings.  Several social events are also held during the year to which friends and family members are invited.

Members make a variety of films including storyline, documentary, general interest and personal films.  Films may be made by individuals or collaboratively in groups and can be entered into internal competitions.  They may also be considered for entry into external competitions.  Major club films are also produced, involving as many members as possible, in order to spread knowledge and expertise.

The Club welcomes film makers of all levels of experience whether beginners, enthusiasts or professionals.  You can use your smartphones, DSLR or Camcorder, professional equipment is not required.  Come and join us if your interested in any aspect of film making:-

script writing - storyboard - animation - lighting - sound - filming - green screen - directing - production - editing

You are welcome to come along to any of our regular meetings which are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 7.30 to 10.00pm. (There are no meetings during August).  The full meetings programme can be found on our Programme Page and details of our membership fees and how to join our Club can be found on our About Us & Join Us Page along with a short film about our Club's History.
